Citizens of GCC countries and around 50 nationalities including the US, UK, EU, Australia and Japan receive a visa on arrival. All other nationalities must apply for a UAE eVisa in advance through our portal.
Standard processing takes 3–5 business days. Express processing is available for urgent applications and typically completes within 24–48 hours. We recommend applying at least one week before your travel date.
A valid passport with at least 6 months remaining validity, a recent passport-sized photograph with a white background, your travel itinerary, proof of accommodation in the UAE and a return flight ticket.
Yes. Tourist visas can generally be extended once for a period equal to the original duration. Extensions must be requested before your current visa expires via GDRFA or through our portal.
Your UAE eVisa is valid for entry through all official UAE ports of entry, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah International Airports, as well as all UAE sea and land border crossings.
Overstaying results in a daily fine of AED 50 (approx. $14) per day, plus a one-time AED 100 administrative fee. It can also affect future UAE visa applications, so depart or extend before your visa expires.
